Leyton at Balcony
Leyton has taken Balcony classes since he was 18 months old. We enrolled him to get some of his energy out. As well as to provide him with coordination skills he can use for sports. His favorite activities are the parachute, the hoola hoops and hanging on the rings. At the end of each session, the children sit in a circle and sing the Bye-bye song. And no! Not the one by N'Sync. It goes like this: "Bye bye, Leyton. Bye, Bye Brodie," etc. The instructor ends it with stamps on the feet and hands of the children. Leyton comes and shows me his stamps, all four of them.
Landon's Many Faces
Landon is eight weeks old. He has already conquered some milestones like coo, smile and roll over. His coos are as sweet as honey. They are music to my ears. When he smiles it makes me smile. His smile is as beautiful as his big brothers. Another milestone.. he has rolled over already! You may find it hard to believe, but it is true. He rolled over from belly to back at five weeks old. When he did this it was on the couch, so I wasn't quite sure if there was an incline. I put him on his playmat for tummy time. Then walked in the kitchen and returned to find him on his back as he stared up at the toys. He is getting stronger and stronger every day!
Leyton enjoys his baby brothers company. When he plays, he often tries to include baby brother somehow. He even has a song for him when Landon becomes fussy. "Don't cry, be happpyy!" Leyton is eager for Landon to grow up, so they can be the best of friends. And the worst of enemies!!! Boy, will we have our hands full.

Leyton's 2nd Birthday Party!
Leyton will be turning TWO this Saturday!!! I can't believe how grown up he has become. We are planning a barnyard themed birthday at Uncle Donald's Farm. He is excited to see all his little friends and eat cake, of course! Below is his birthday invitation, made by Mommy, otherwise known as "Mum," with love.
